Finally I have decided to join WordPress. With this being my first post, I am still in the process of familiarizing myself with its features. I have, using help, managed to successfully import posts from one of my previous blog (instead of giving them new dates and making them seem recent). But unfortunately some of the images cannot be seen as you can see from the ones below. If anyone knows how to mend this, please let me know.
Also if anyone can tell me how to import posts from this blog then i would be grateful.

I dunno about helping you with moving post from aahey.com but somewhere I saw this phrase “WordPress also has a generic RSS importer, so if your current blogging system can export in a valid RSS format, you can import that into WP”. Hopefully they have RSS format. Otherwise just contact wordpress support and give them the specifics of aahey.com. I will update your link to this site. Just inform us when you take the other site down so we can delete the links. Good luck.

Thank you for the tip on Importing, but the previous Blog is somali hosted and doesn’t allow me to export. It has the RSS feed but doesn’t work for some reason. I will look into it tomorrow Insha-Allah.

Firefly, oh it wasn’t that bad. still getting used to it. The only thing being that i can’t change the template anyhow with this free one!
